Staff profile: Jen Kneedler

Jen Kneedler graduated from East-West College of the Healing Arts in 2001 located here in Portland.  She has studied a variety of different massage modalities and has built her practice on the foundation of treating each client based on their particular needs and desires. She offers suggestions to clients who are interested in learning more about ways they can actively participate in reducing physical discomfort and stress in their lives.

Prior to beginning her career as a massage therapist, Jen received her B.A. from the University of Oregon in 1999. After graduation she made the decision to return home to Portland and enroll in massage school.  From the first day of school, she knew she was headed in the right direction.  She immediately connected to the work on all levels -- enjoying the physical nature of the work, the opportunity it provided to help others, and the opening to a spiritual awareness previously unknown to her.  Six years later she’s still at it and loving it just as much.  She feels immense gratitude for the countless ways in which her career in massage therapy and each of the clients she has served has helped to enrich her life.

Outside of work Jen is an avid jock.  She regularly plays basketball and tennis and has recently taken up trail running.  She also loves music, preferably danceable music, and going out to enjoy the unique offerings that make Portland the loveable city that it is.
